Nokia has been named Manufacturer of the Year at a prestigious mobile phone industry awards ceremony.
The world’s leading mobile manufacturer was presented with the coveted title at the Mobile News Awards held in London on March 17, 2005.
The judging panel of industry experts praised Nokia’s continued innovation of both product design and technology, the company’s support of its customers, its new retail strategy which includes 11 new Nokia branded stores and its high profile marketing campaigns.
