BSNL to launch new landline scheme from Aug 1

The BSNL Maharashtra Circle has launched a consumer-friedly scheme that will enable the company’s customers to make landline-to-landline unlimited free calls within the state and neighbouring Goa on an add-on package of Rs 149.

The scheme, `Maharashtra-Goa Unlimited’, is being launched from August 1, Chief General Manager, BSNL Maharashtra Circle, Chandraprakash told reporters here on Monday.

He said besides this, pulse for calls to BSNL mobiles within Maharashtra and Goa has been increased from present one minute to three minutes without increase in charges. This scheme will be in effect for a limited period.

About `jodi kamal ki’ scheme, Chandraprakash said it has been extended to other plans such as 100, 140 and 225. Under this scheme with every new SIM under plans 325, 525 and 725, free local calls cane be made between two chosen numbers.

Chandraprakash said there were 30 lakh BSNL mobile connections and 25 lakhs will be added soon in the Circle.
