Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Andhra Pradesh circle has set a target of Rs 500 crore profit during the current financial year Chief General Manager AP circle, A Ramalingam said on Monday.
Last year the AP circle had recorded a profit of Rs 200 crore.
Inaugurating the second 15,000 lines OCB trunk automatic exchange, Ramalingam said in view of the tough competition in the market, BSNL employee should provide quality service to the customers with utmost attention.
He said the Cricle was interested in expanding its network in rural areas through broadband, with this in view about four lakh broadband connections would be provided in the present financial year.
With the 15,000 lines OCB trunk automatic exchange there would be no traffic congestion and there would be free flow of traffic in Vijayawada city and surrounding rural areas, he said.
