Bharti Airtel reported net profit of Rs 1412.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared with Rs 814.3 crore for the same quarter previous year, a growth of 73%.
Total revenue stood at Rs 5691.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 against Rs 3700.5 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as per Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IGAAP) stood at Rs 1424.2 crore as compared with Rs 831.3 crore. Total income increased to Rs 5873.5 crore from Rs 3815.4 crore.
As per United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), the company posted net income of Rs 1511.6 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 against Rs 755 crore. Its total revenues rose to Rs 5904.6 crore from Rs 3856.3 crore.
